This places the Solihull school, which is part of the Fairfax Multi Academy Trust (FMAT), as the 15th most improved nationwide, according to newly released Department for Education data.
One of the reasons could be down to an increase in attendance.
This has risen by more than five percent -- a rate more than ten times the national average -- and staff say this shows 'growing student engagement and trust in the school's direction'.
Principal Steve Huntington said: "I'm really happy that the children and community now have a school they can be proud of. Their hard work and determination to succeed is starting to pay off."
FMAT's Director of Education, Martyn Jobling, praised the transformation: "The whole Trust is immensely proud of Steve and his team. They are enriching lives and transforming futures.
"This data is just one part of the story, but it's a powerful indicator of how far the academy has come."
