You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. I've been preparing my Steam page for a game I'm making. In a recent Steam update they allow WebM videos in the About this Game section.

I've uploading VP9 webm videos with transparency at 60fps. It works fine on desktops and I've been told fine on most androids so far. However many of my friends on iOS see the playback as laggy.

I'm not sure if it's a bug with iPhone or with Steam? I have brought it up with Steam, but they've not been able to fix the issue yet.
