Chatham-Kent Local Immigration Partnership's 2025 Annual Forum also will discuss the positive impacts immigrants and newcomers bring to the communities they choose to call home, a release said.

"Chatham-Kent continues to grow as a diverse and inclusive community" group co-ordinator Lara Olukolu said.

"The forum will highlight the work done in Chatham-Kent over the past five years, as part of the CK LIP Theory of Change Strategic Plan and showcases the positive impact immigration brings to communities."

The forum will include a presentation from keynote speaker Pedro Antunes, the Conference Board of Canada chief economist, who will share insights on Canadian immigration, housing and economic trends, including how immigration supports economic development and growth in local communities, the release said.
