Motorists are being warned to expect delays along the east-west leg of Highway 2000, following a multi-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon.

It's understood the collision occurred in the vicinity of the Vineyards Toll plaza in Old Harbour, St. Catherine.

Preliminary reports say the driver of a trailer truck lost control of the vehicle leading to the multi-vehicle crash.

The driver reportedly fled the scene.

Up to news time, no serious injuries had been reported.
