How Should New York Jet Fans Feel After Their Week 1 Loss?

Aaron Rodgers finally played a game after playing just four snaps of the entire 2023 season. He looked pretty sharp considering he is coming off of a torn Achilles injury. The Jets did not play a good game at all on Monday night but the defense to me was the biggest problem. They let the San Francisco 49ers run it right down their throat and had no pass rush on quarterback Brock Purdy whatsoever. Below is my quick take on this as seen in the Times Union:

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodger's who hadn't played in 13 months looked pretty good to me on Monday, but it was the Jets defense that didn't get the job done. The Jets defense is supposed to be among the best in the NFL but they gave up 32 points to a San Francisco team that didn't have running back Christian McCaffrey who was inactive with a calf injury. Rodger's and the offense gave Jets fans something they haven't seen in a while and that a couple of touchdown drives, but it wasn't enough because the defense had no answers for the 49er's offense.

The Jets have four winnable games in a row and have a chance to bounce right back. The fact that Aaron Rodgers is healthy is a win in and of itself, and he might have a true wide receiver one in Garrett Wilson. The offensive line looks better too which had been on of their major struggles in the past. The Jets will be just fine and everyone need to relax, just like Aaron Rodgers said.
