At least five people were hospitalized Sunday night following a collision between a Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) ambulance and a black SUV in the Arleta neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley. The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Woodman ⁢Avenue and Chase Street, according to LAFD ⁣spokesperson Jennifer Middleton.

The⁤ SUV sustained meaningful damage, as documented by witnesses sharing footage on TikTok. The driver of the SUV, a 34-year-old male, was transported to a local trauma center in critical⁤ condition.
