This game has some shockingly strong indicators in it. Northwestern is a whopping 5-2 ATS this season while Nebraska is a putrid 2-5 ATS. Recently, the Wildcats have covered in their past three while the Cornhuskers have failed to cover in their last four games. Last but not least, according to The Action Network 60% of all bets are in on Northwestern but 98% of all money is on the Wildcats as well. All signs point to Northwestern in this one.
Contrary to the game above this, the Rutgers vs. Purdue matchup has no leading indicators. Rutgers almost always goes over (6-1) while Purdue usually goes under (2-5). Both are below average ATS with Purdue being particularly bad. The spread has been remarkably boring this week. The only thing we have to go off of this week is the fact that Purdue, who's only gone over the total twice, has done so in two of the last four weeks while Rutgers does so nearly every week. We'll begrudgingly take the over.
