The "Late Night" host -- after mocking ex-New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani for claiming on Fox News that doctors told him Biden showed signs of dementia in 2020 -- tossed to "a new banger" from the current president, who let loose with the false claim on Sunday that he suggested bin Laden should be killed in a 2000 book.

"I said one year before to Pete Hegseth, I said one year before -- where's Pete? In the book, I wrote -- whatever the hell the title, I can't tell you but I can tell you there's a page in there devoted to the fact that I saw somebody named Osama bin Laden and I didn't like it and you've got to take care of him," said Trump in remarks at a U.S. Navy celebration on Sunday. "They didn't do it. A year later, he blew up the World Trade Center so we got to take a little credit, because nobody else is going to give it to me."
