The Detroit Lions took the lead in the second quarter of the Week 12 game versus the Indianapolis Colts after running back Jahmyr Gibbs scored a touchdown on a one-yard carry.
The Lions had fallen behind 3-0 after the Colts notched a field goal drive on the first series of the game. After Detroit punted on its first offensive series, Jared Goff and Co. drove down the field with relative ease, setting up Gibbs' score.
After Gibbs punched it in with a run around the edge, he asked for the assistance of wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown to do a touchdown celebration that paid homage to Philadelphia 76ers and NBA legend Allen Iverson.
Check out the awesome celebration below (at the 15 second mark).
In case you're not familiar, here's the clip of what inspired Gibbs' celebration.
The touchdown was Gibbs' ninth rushing touchdown and 10th in total this season. He is already just one touchdown shy of matching his total from last season.
In addition to that, the Lions extended their NFL record of most consecutive games (including playoffs) with a rushing touchdown to 25.
