WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - The annual Epicurean Evening dinner is scheduled to take place this week.
The event is a contest between some of the area's top chefs, where a panel of judges will decide who gets the top prize: the Copper Kettle.
Epicurean Evening supports the Methodist Home for Children. The organization serves hundreds of children in eastern North Carolina.
The event is set to be held on Sept. 4 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at UNCW's Burney Center.
