Arizona added another player to its 2025 recruiting class, after Texas defensive lineman Porter Patton verbally committed to the Wildcats on Tuesday.

Patton chose Arizona over Air Force, Marshall and Navy.

The 6-7, 260-pound Patton is a standout at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas, the same program that produced ex-Wildcat and Super Bowl MVP quarterback Nick Foles and Drew Brees.

Patton is one of seven players from Texas in Arizona's '25 recruiting class, which ranks 12th in the Big 12, according to 247Sports.com. The seven Texans are the most in a UA recruiting class since 2019.
