In a partnership with the Martha Liebert Public Library in Bernalillo, Coronado Historic Site offers a "Ranger Read and Learn" story time that is free and open to all ages, 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at Martha Liebert Public Library at 124 Calle Malinche in Bernalillo.

At Ranger Read and Learn, a ranger from Coronado Historic Site will read a story and offer related conversation and activities. Children can listen to the book The Shortest Day by Susan Cooper, to learn more about the winter solstice.

The ranger will then lead a solstice-inspired craft activity.

This partnership offers an opportunity for Coronado Historic Site to share history and natural history related to the site with surrounding community members.
