The 'African Queen' legend says Burna Boy stands as the "senior" among today's Afrobeats stars.

Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Face or 2Baba, has declared Burna Boy as Nigeria's number one artist at the moment.

The legendary African Queen singer made the statement in a recent interview with Urban FM, Enugu, where he praised Burna Boy's dominance in the music industry.

"On a personal level, Burna Boy is my number one. Although I still have other artists that I admire. But personally, as an artist, Burna Boy is my number one right now," he said.

2Face went on to describe Burna Boy as the "senior" of the current generation of Nigerian artists, noting that while others are also rising fast, Burna Boy holds the top spot for now.

"Among all the others I am referring to, he is the senior. There are still other ones coming up behind him that I see going to the same level," he added.

The statement has further fueled conversations around Burna Boy's global influence and his place in the hierarchy of Afrobeats superstars, with fans already debating 2Face's endorsement on social media.
