EUGENE Ore. (KPTV) - Oregon Ducks center Nate Bittle was named Big Ten Conference Player of the Week on Monday, the University of Oregon Athletics Department announced.
The 7-foot senior led Oregon to a 3-0 record on the week, averaging 19.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per game over the span.
The Ducks overcame a 16-point second half deficit to defeat the No. 11 Wisconsin Badgers 77-73 in overtime on Saturday, with Bittle tying a career-high with 23 points in the victory.
The Central Point native had double-doubles in victories over Rutgers and Iowa earlier in the week, and is the first Duck to earn conference player of the week honors since Will Richardson in December 2022.
