The annual Verona Christmas parade was held Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. with a theme of "Verona Old Town Christmas Parade." Hundreds lined the streets as candy and treats were thrown from moving vehicles. Following the parade, stew and chili was served at the Verona Fire Department, prepared by dedicated local citizens.

This was one of Verona's most attended events as the weather cooperated. Jessie Lee Shell was the Grand Marshall for his outstanding contributions to the citizens of Verona. Thanks to all who helped make this event a great success.
