NFL Offense Rankings: Who Has the Best Offense in the League? | ProFootballNetwork.com

30) New York Giants. The New York Giants are in an odd position right now. It appeared as though the Giants wanted to trade up and select a quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft. After failing to do so, the team shifted gears towards supporting oft-injured quarterback Daniel Jones with a supporting cast in part meant to elevate a rookie.

From the outside looking in, New York's offense is still loaded with question marks. Jones' health remains the biggest question, but there are still concerns along the offensive line. Rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers has star potential, but will Jones be the quarterback to help him reach that level?

"I say the same impact Maxx is making in Vegas right now just from a mentality standpoint and bring guys along with him, Burns can do the same thing here, which he is doing," said Eluemunor, challenged with slowing Burns in training camp.

Eluemunor is asked to describe that mentality. "Dawg," he said. "It may look like he's a little tired, which I've learned, even if he looks tired, he's still gonna go hard as hell on that rep. I'm used to that, going against Maxx, the man never gets tired."

The better outcome for the Giants would be for Jones to recapture his 2022 form. Schoen and Daboll continue to invest in his success. They drafted two pass-catchers with elite potential, wide receiver Malik Nabers and tight end Theo Johnson, to spearhead the aerial attack. The offensive line should also be improved after the arrivals of Jon Runyan Jr. and Jermaine Eluemunor, the latter of which is competing with Evan Neal.

But Jones may be able to... well, not thrive per se, but match the statistically average heights of his 2022. No. 5 overall draft pick Malik Nabers already looks like a nightmare matchup for any cornerback in one-on-one coverage. Darius Slayton no longer has to deal with the pressure of being the team's top wideout (a role in which he exceeded expectations) and can get back to the downfield routes where he's most effective. The offensive line is still a concern, but signing veterans Jon Runyan Jr., Jermaine Eluemunor and Greg Van Roten will at the very least provide a higher floor of play.

Drew Lock (hip) is "100 percent confident" he'll be good to go by Week 1. Assuming that's the case, Tommy DeVito might not have a place on the 53-man roster. But don't worry devoted DeVito fans, that's not really a knock on him. He played well Thursday (8-of-15 for 92 yards) and probably deserves a roster spot after what he accomplished last year. However, new league rules allow for unlimited game day promotions for an emergency quarterback off the practice squad. So, if the Giants don't think he'll get poached, they could leave him off their initial roster.

Rookie fourth-round pick Theo Johnson is an intriguing pass-catching option who joins Daniel Bellinger, Chris Manhertz, Lawrence Cager and Jack Stoll in the tight-end competition.

Bellinger and Johnson will likely top the depth chart, with Manhertz or Cager rounding out the top three. Cager was listed as the second-team tight end behind Bellinger on the first unofficial depth chart, but Manhertz may stick as a blocking specialist. Expect Bellinger to be the starter for Week 1, though Johnson has more upside and may supplant him at some point as a rookie.

25. New York Giants WR room: Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton, Wan'Dale Robinson, Jalin Hyatt, Allen Robinson

If we can get a healthy season out of the New York Giants' receiving corps, this should be a competitive group that provides a massive spark to an otherwise boring offense. Malik Nabers will be a star, and Jalin Hyatt's speed is difference-making. Darius Slayton and Wan'Dale Robinson should be good role players who complement them, but health and consistency are key for them.

Eric Gray's been the third-team running back throughout camp and in the first preseason game behind Devin Singletary and Tyrone Tracy. But now that Tracy will miss some time, Gray will get his first chance to be a consistent player.

"(I can't) worry about what anybody has to say or what's going on around me," Gray said. "Just be me, and every opportunity that you get, take advantage of it. ... Just be aggressive. Start fast, to come out the first quarter and score. Be aggressive and be dogs."

S Jason Pinnock is now the old veteran in a secondary that has seen fellow safeties like Julian Love and Xavier McKinney exit over the past couple of offseasons. With the benefit of their experience, along with his athleticism and instincts, he should be able to take a step forward in his second year as a starter.

The Giants are valued at $7.6 billion, putting them in third place behind the Dallas Cowboys ($10.32 billion) and the Los Angeles Ras ($7.79 billion), the latter of whom leapfrogged ahead of the Giants.

Houston will need several names to step up on the interior, and it appears that DeMeco Ryans will be counting on Mario Edwards. The 30-year-old has been largely a rotational defensive lineman, playing below 400 snaps in five of his past six seasons while making just nine starts in that span.

The traditional run game has stalled. Thankfully, both RB Joe Mixon and LT Laremy Tunsil -- perhaps Houston's two most important run-game contributors -- have been cleared to return to practice. Look for an emphasis on finding some run-game consistency in this contest. Perhaps rookie RB Jawhar Jordan can give the Texans a spark.
