PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Impacts of Portland's latest atmospheric river are expected to last through the weekend as temperatures remain warmer than average.
Scattered rain showers will continue Saturday with a few brief dry moments expected between wind gusts that reach near 20 mph. Rain accumulation this weekend will last through Sunday, where totals around the greater Portland/Vancouver area will reach 0.5-0.75'' of rain.

Minor urban flooding is possible across the Pacific Northwest. Some coastal communities could see flooding from minor tidal overflow thanks to the king tides returning as wet and windy weather remains.
Snow accumulation will start to add up around Mt. Hood. Mountain pass travel should remain smooth as snow levels remain above 4,500.' Nearly a foot to two feet of snow is possible by early next week on some of the highest elevated locations of Mt. Hood.

The mild temperatures come at a cost. Soaking rains are expected to take western Oregon and southwest Washington through the end of the week.
