SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A man was arrested on suspicion of shooting and killing another man in Miramar earlier this week.
Joseph Hendry, 42, was identified as the suspect, the San Diego Police Department said in a news release Friday.
On Wednesday around 4 p.m., the victim, identified as 57-year-old Markus Vega, was shot while seated in the front passenger seat of a vehicle parked in the 8600 block of Production Avenue, according to authorities.
When first responders arrived on scene, they took Vega to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police were not able to find the suspect after he ran northbound from the scene of the shooting. On Thursday, Hendry was arrested.
