Maybe it is a Christmas miracle or the power of New Year's wishes, but there is one specific Netflix series which will be delivering the greatest gift of all on January 16. One of the most loved characters of 2018 and onward, the ultimate Netflix heartthrob and everyone's dream boyfriend, is going to return to the screens. Yes, the talk is about the one and only Peter Kavinsky, and no, this isn't a fever dream. To be fair, this probably wasn't on anyone's radar, but there are no words to describe the excitement of seeing Noah Centineo step back into this iconic role. One of the greatest To All the Boys stars will return in XO, Kitty, and we are here for it.

The Netflix series XO, Kitty is an addition to the To All the Boys universe, and focuses on the youngest of the Covey sisters, Katherine aka Kitty, who is portrayed by Anna Cathcart. While she was depicted as the (sometimes) annoying little sister in the movie franchise, XO, Kitty is fully dedicated to highlighting Kitty's own tumultuous life as she gets older. In the To All the Boys movies, Kitty met Dae during the family's trip to Seoul in South Korea, and ever since then they have kept in touch. They built such a strong connection that Kitty and Dae ended up in a long-distance relationship, but, typical Kitty, she was dedicated to putting an end to that.
Without further ado, she applied to Dae's school, KISS (Korean International School of Seoul), and got accepted. Her plan of surprising him, however, slightly failed, because once Kitty arrived at the school ball, she found Dae hand in hand with the prettiest girl in school, Yuri. Season 1 of XO, Kitty showed that Kitty wasn't one to give up though, so her semester was all about finding out what was actually going on. As for the second season of XO, Kitty, life seems even more difficult. Lara Jean, move aside, it is Kitty's turn to experience all the chaos, confusion, joys, and defeats of love.

Posts Who Is Peter Kavinsky? Close
Boy, where does one even start explaining who the Peter Kravinsky is. Peter is one of the main characters in the rom-com movie franchise, To All the Boys, which is based on Jenny Han's novel series. He is the hot-tub-loving, confidence-oozing, lacrosse-playing high school hotshot with handsome looks and the cheekiest smile. Of course, he is also dating the most popular girl in school until she dumps him. When Lara Jean's love letters from when she was younger are sent to her crushes by her sister, and Peter receives one, the two come up with a plan to fake-date, but, instead, they actually end up together. Centineo was the perfect choice for Peter Kavinsky. There is no doubt about that, and the fact that Noah Centineo played a teen heartthrob in multiple movies is proof of that.
After many ups and downs, Lara Jean and Peter are finally going strong, and let's just say there is nothing that could change that. In fact, their relationship is so solid that Peter has even built an incredibly strong connection with Lara Jean's younger sister, Kitty, and is there for her as though he is her older brother. In the To All the Boys movie, there are a few iconic moments between Peter and Kitty. If you enjoyed those, then you are in for a major treat.

Posts Noah Centineo's Return to the 'To All the Boys' Universe
Peter Kavinsky is set to surprise Kitty at KISS and offer her some much-needed advice. While the extent of his appearance is unclear, it is certain that they will share numerous sweet moments. The "Big Brother mode" will be on, as Peter is dedicated to reminding Kitty of where she comes from, who she is, the value she holds, and how much she is loved. Classic Kavinsky with those pep talks. It is no secret that the collective opinion is that Peter Kavinsky is right up there with the good guys. The news of Noah Centineo reprising his role in one of Netflix's best series is reminding fans of the To All the Boys movies how much they actually loved him back then.
Peter and LJ had to face some serious hiccups during the course of their relationship, but they always found a way to work through everything and come back stronger, which is why To All the Boys I've Loved Before is one of those romantic movies actually worth watching. With Kitty stuck in some serious love triangles and confused about what she actually wants, it is the perfect time to bring in Peter and have him offer some great, but also light-hearted, advice. Of course, it would also be fun to see Lana Condor's LJ return to the franchise and help her sister through these hardships, but who knows, maybe Lara Jean will pop in some time in the future.
As for now, the decision to bring back Peter was the right move, since it is already generating hype, bringing back the To All the Boys movies, and creating curiosity as to how big of a role Noah Centineo's Peter will play. XO, Kitty is available to stream on Netflix.
