A national cast of angling experts will visit Mount Pleasant's Omar Shrine Temple on Jan. 18-19 for the return of the Haddrell's Point Fishing Expo.
The event, which originated as a Shallow Water Expo more than a decade ago, has expanded and now covers inshore, offshore and freshwater fishing.
Mike Able of Haddrell's Point said the expo gives local fishermen an opportunity to view the latest in fishing tackle, see a variety of boats and participate in seminars during the two-day event.

He said the seminar schedule should be finalized soon, and people can plan their visit by looking at the store's website.
C.A. Richardson, a professional inshore guide from the west coast of Florida, is the well-known host of Flats Class TV and Flats Class University. Richardson has participated in the Haddrell's Point Fishing Expo every year from its inception.
Another returning fishing expert is Benny Ortiz, a South Florida resident who specializes in slow pitch jigging and vertical jigging.
New this year will be Steve Brandt, an expert in high speed fishing for wahoo.
