After a long beta period, Android 15 is finally finished. It's not actually available on our phones yet, but the latest Android version is now in AOSP, meaning its source code is available for review and developers can start finalizing their apps' Android 15 compatibility.
Google's said that we should expect Android 15 to roll out to eligible Pixel devices "in the coming weeks." Last month, some participants in the Android 15 beta program saw a message on their devices explaining that stable Android 15 would be released in October, which lines up with the latest "coming weeks" framing. Devices from other manufacturers should get the update in the months to follow.
