What Happens at the End of 'Emily in Paris' Season 4?

All hail the city of love! We're back in France for season 4 of Emily in Paris. And with love triangles, work dramas, and lots of delicious bistro food, we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. But how does Emily in Paris season 4 part 1 on Netflix end? Here's a breakdown of everything that happens after the first five episodes.

One of the biggest moments in season 4 is Gabriel and Emily finally being truthful about their feelings for each other, and letting their relationship blossom. Everyone from Alfie to Camille knows that they're a couple, and the pair even plans various romantic dates -- from dinner on her apartment rooftop to going out with Gabriel's chef friends.

After moving out of Gabriel's apartment, Camille and Sofia find a place of their own on the same block. While they're furniture shopping, though, Camille calls Sofia out for her less-than-supportive approach to their situation, making comments about Camille's baby sleeping in a closet.

Sofia says she doesn't feel like Camille will ever move past Gabriel, to which Camille points out Gabriel is the baby's father. Sofia then asks Camille to move to Athens with her, to which Camille replies, "You know I can't do that."

Another storyline throughout season 4 has been Emily's attempts to get Gabriel's restaurant a Michelin star by wining and dining Luc's girlfriend Marianne, who says she's a Michelin star restaurant critic. However, she is unmasked as a fraud, after the actual Michelin critic reveals she was fired from her job over a year ago for "insider dining."

Agence Grateau signs a new client in the shape of Mindy's friend Li, who owns a skincare company that is all about promoting glass skin. During a sampling at the prestigious Galeries Lafayette, Julien discovers something, and reveals it to Emily and Sylie: Li was actually on the American version of Dragon's Den the year before, promoting the product as lube -- not face cream. But Emily decides it's no problem, as the product is a hit, and instead, they raise the prices to make it more exclusive.

To recap, Sylvie was contacted by a journalist over insights she might have into an exposé around JVMA boss Louis de Leon, aka Nico's -- Mindy's boyfriend -- dad. She's worried about the repercussions, due to the fact her husband Laurent is launching a new nightclub with funding from JVMA, but decides to go ahead with it anyway. Eventually, the article -- "Louis de Leon has designs on women" -- is released, and the funding is pulled for the club.

In the final episode, Camille goes to the doctor after noticing some blood spotting. Later, she reveals to a friend that she's actually not pregnant, and the doctor explained how at-home pregnancy tests can sometimes show false positives, while her delay in getting her period could be down to stress.

She's devastated and struggles to tell Gabriel what's happened because he is putting on a happy face following the Michelin star saga. "I'm the luckiest man in the world," he announces, signaling to his girlfriend Emily and Camille, with his baby on the way.

While Emily in Paris season 4 part 1 ends in Gabriel's restaurant, we *do* get a teaser for the next batch of episodes, which introduces us to a man named Marcello. Emily is on a skiing holiday with Camille and Gabriel, when they go down the mountain ahead of her. Enter: Marcello, a mysterious hot man in a ski suit, who offers his help instead. Could this be a turning moment for Emily's future?
