The Rodney Block Collective, featuring vocalist Bijoux, was the featured performer for the End of Summer Block Party, a Jazz & Blues Night & Social. Presented by the Muskie Harris Recovery Centers benefiting the Muskie Harris Women's Recovery Center, the event took place Aug. 2 in The Razorback Letterman's Club, War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

Amid an easy, casual atmosphere, attendees heard remarks from Harris, who spoke of the challenges women in particular faced finding resources for addiction recovery. They also partook of a lavish hors d'oeuvre buffet provided by Trio's; enjoyed the music -- from recorded music spun by a DJ to the Collective's most popular live tunes; and did a bit of dancing in the true spirit of the season.
