The Cherries midfielder did not feature for the Three Lions against either Serbia or Albania in the break but was named among the substitutes for the latter game.

But Iraola said Scott will have learned a lot from his experience in Thomas Tuchel's camp.

"I think he should have enjoyed it, definitely," Iraola said.

"I think we were talking a little bit the level of training, the level of everyone involved around England. And I think for him to be part of this has to be always very good news.

"I think it's normal that the first time he goes, he doesn't play any minutes, but he has to use this experience to see, okay, this is the highest almost of the levels and see how the others train, see good examples for sure that he's seen in the changing rooms, of routines that the other players do and try to absorb everything he has to be beneficial for him first and after for us also."
