Conor McGregor's social media silence has extended to two weeks, leaving fans wondering what is beckoning for the UFC star.
The Dubliner has always been very active on social media platforms, gathering over ten million followers on X, and over 46 million followers on Instagram.
But the 37-year-old declared earlier this month that he was taking a break from the platforms.
McGregor said: "Hey folks online, I'm out of here for a bit, see you again soon! My love, unwavering! Thank you all."
Although many expected McGregor to be posting again soon, the former two-weight world champion has kept to his word for now.
It has been two weeks since McGregor's last post, and some fight fans think he has embarked on a rigorous training regime.
McGregor has recently stated his intentions to fight on the UFC's White House card next year. The UFC is set to visit 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue next year in a card organised by boss Dana White and greenlit by US President Donald Trump.
McGregor has not fought since 2021, and news broke last week that he is currently serving an 18-month ban for violating UFC's Anti-Doping Policy, having missed three biological sample collections in a 12-month period.
The ban came into effect on September 20, 2024, and concludes on March 20, 2026.
UFC boss White was asked if McGregor could potentially feature on the card as his ban would have elapsed by then.
"We're not even looking at the White House card until February," White told reporters.
" We have literally not talked about one fight on the White House card yet. We won't even start until February. And then, whether he's [Conor McGregor] available or not."
McGregor was originally meant to return to action last June but withdrew from his fight against Michael Chandler due to a toe injury. He has not won a fight in the UFC since 2020.
McGregor has spent much of 2025 attempting to run for the Irish Presidency but failed to get on the Presidential ballot. He also saw his recent appeal fail after being found liable of the assault of Nikita Hand.
