Challenger Aaron Kirkpatrick won the Ward 4 council seat for the City of Bartlesville on Tuesday, unseating recently appointed council member Quinn Schipper and defeating Christopher LaTorraca.
Oklahoma State Election Board unofficial results show Kirkpatrick garnered 60.41% of the vote, totaling 1,268 votes. Schipper received 32.40% with 680 votes, while LaTorraca received 7.19% with 151 votes.
According to the unofficial results, 2,099 people voted in the election. Kirkpatrick will be sworn in at December's City Council meeting.
