FARGO -- Grab your art supplies and get ready for the Fargo Public Library's bookmark designing contest.
This annual event begins on Sunday, Sept. 1 and runs through the month, according to a release from the Fargo Public Library.
All ages are welcome to participate, the release said, and artists can find entry forms and rules at any public library in Fargo or online at fargolibrary.org .
But hurry, the library isn't accepting any late submissions.
"For the children's portion of the contest, three winners will be selected, one from each age group: 5-years-old and under, 6- to 8-years-old, and 9- to 12-years-old," the release said.
Children can submit up to three designs. Each entry will be showcased in the Children's Department at the downtown Main Library. For the teen and adult contests, two winners will be selected for each. Teens and adults can submit up to two designs.
This artwork will also be available for viewing at the downtown Main Library. Winners will be announced in October.
